Weddings & Special Events

The Smithfield Center is a multi-purpose space with an extremely versatile design that meets the needs of small and large groups, with a 2,300 square-foot deck that overlooks the Pagan River - a picture-perfect place for a ceremony. Then invite your guests inside to our 5000 square foot Main Hall for your reception. Dance the night away in this spacious hall which offers plenty of room for 150 guests plus tables for a buffet line or food stations.

Main Hall Layout

The Main Hall is a 5,000 square feet multi-purpose banquet space with a wood look floor, digital projector, drop-down screen and wireless internet access. It can seat 150 for dinner. The stage is 16 x 10 feet and is well equipped for bands with a 24-channel connection for sound and light boards. The addition of a dance floor and/or head table will reduce the space available for tables. The Main Hall can be combined with suites by opening the walls to extend the space to 8,000 square feet which can seat a total of 340 for dinner.

  • 42 round tables - 60 inches in diameter
  • 28 rectangle tables - 6 feet in length
  • 400 chairs (Color-Cafe Au Lait)
  • 8 cocktail tables -36 inches in diameter
  • 2 Sweetheart Tables -48 inches in diameter
  • 1 portable bar
  • Stage (10 feet by 16 feet) - A fee is required for removal or moving of stage
  • 6 black wooden easels
